We are now seeking a Vice President of Finance to join our executive leadership team and help drive the next chapter of growth.

Position Overview
The Vice President of Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the Owner and CEO, providing hands-on leadership across all financial functions of the business. This executive will play a critical role in financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation—while ensuring the company’s fiscal health and compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements.

This is a key position for a finance leader who can combine strategic insight with operational execution in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Financial Leadership

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company’s financial strategy.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support business growth and operational goals.
• Provide clear, data-driven insights into company performance, profitability, and trends.
• Develop relationships with banking and financial partners to ensure optimal financing and liquidity.

Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, etc.).
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
• Manage all tax planning, reporting, and compliance at federal, state, and local levels.

Risk & Legal Oversight

• Serve as the primary liaison to external legal counsel on corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters.
• Oversee risk management programs and corporate insurance coverage.
• Support business development, leasing, and partnership agreements from a financial and legal perspective.

Leadership & Team Development

• Build and lead a high-performing accounting and finance team as the organization grows.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a collaborative and persuasive voice on the executive team.

Qualifications

• CPA or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading finance or accounting functions in a mid-to-large organization.
• 5+ years in a senior financial leadership role (Director, VP, or CFO level).
• Proven success in the wholesale, retail, or footwear/fashion industry strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, and reporting best practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Hands-on, collaborative approach; thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
